Disappointingly little snow on the ground (never used snowshoes or crampons), but
excellent weather and a great hike.
My camera kept freezing, but I managed to take a good number of photos.

After five or ten minutes of hiking, we pause to strip off some clothing. It must be almost
twenty degrees out!

Heading up the Old Bridle Path: this is our first glimpse of Mt Lafayette.
It's veiled in cloud.
A few feet farther, a better view of Walker Brook, Mt Lincoln, and the plume of
snow trailing from the summit of Lafayette.

We thought about pausing for lunch at this spot, but the wind soon convinced us otherwise.

Michal seems to be lost in the snow and trees on the ridge just below the Greenleaf Hut.
View back down the ridge we've climbed. Rte 93 is visible in the background.

The summit of Lafayette was so windy, Michal had some trouble putting his jacket on.

View of Lafayette from the ridge near Mt Lincoln.

View southwest.
View East-Northeast. That lump of cloud on the far horizon might be caused by
wind passing over the summit of Mt Washington.
This boulder just south of Mt Lincoln provided enough shelter from the wind for a snack break.
View west from our boulder.

The summit of Little Haystack.

Coming down the Falling Waters Trail: well, they're falling a bit slowly at the moment.
Besides the stream itself, many big rocks sport icicles.
Another shot of that cascade.
