Mt Monadnock - Oct 30, 2005


A freak 60-degree day at the end of October (the day after a snowstorm) - weather too fine to stay indoors!
Took the Pumpelly trail this time, nearly 5 miles each way.

you should see an image here After a flat stretch in the woods, the trail climbs up onto the ridge and you get some views. Here's a look back northward to Dublin Pond, where the trail begins.
you should see an image here Another view toward Dublin Pond. The trees don't really thin out much for most of the ridge, so you'll see some branches in the next few frames.
