Mt Washington Attempt March 2008

	Friday night: Sara napping during the drive north.
	Saturday: Frankenstein Cliff, standard route. A few minutes before the rain began pouring down.
	Sunday: leaving Pinkham Notch on the Tuckerman Ravine trail.

	It started snowing before long.
	A rare break in the snow allowed enough sunshine to cast shadows.
	Above treeline, conditions got interesting.

	An unexpected visit while we were stopped to remove our crampons.
	"Melvin" was obviously hoping for some food.
	He was pretending to be shy so we'd put out some bait to lure him closer...
	But he wasn't really scared of us.
	We stopped to rest in Harvard Cabin, where my lens fogged up faster than I could wipe it.
	Lei was a little chilly from our summit attempt.
