Pittsfield State Forest Hiking/Camping Trip

The first expedition of the season. Actually it involved rather more huddling around the fire for warmth than actual hiking. But it was fun nonetheless.

We think Mike was doing a Bruce Lee impersonation while setting up his tent. Either that or it was some kind of Tourette's episode or nicotine-induced dyskinesia.

Melanie's jeans and Anil's toe look on in amusement as Mike demonstrates why fire was really invented. There are several ironies here, but I like the hat the best.
